John Deere 790 with loader LS xr3140h also with loader plus a cab
Pulled the trigger on a kubota B2401 narrow tractor last week.

The B2401 narrow REALLY shined in the tree farm in tight rows, turning and over all nimbleness. It is supposed to be the most narrow tractor in its category at something like 35.4 inches wide.... Its tire tracks fit inside of the 790 deere tire tracks, I think it's 50'' wide.

Operating the B2401 was simple, comfortable for both me and my recreational advisor 'my wife' and very good power. Went with the gear transmission. The one we 'tried' out had the gear tranny and it worked perfectly for our tasks.

It ran the 48 inch rotary cutter very well, wich will be the largest implement it will run. It will mostly be used for spraying and mowing, with harrowing and light cultivating mixed in.

I plan on installing a tuff top canopy for shade. Have one on the 790 and like it alot. Standing up to abuse like tree limbs and shop doors quite well....

Should be here around the end of the week.

sounds like a good match for your needs. am sure you're aware being that narrow requires vigilance for tip over on slopes. ft wheel weights & loaded rears? maybe an option for safety
yes, post working pics, regards

Ordered with the front weight kit. No real bad slopes on the tree farm.

When I first read your thread I started wondering why my brother-in-law doesn't operate any narrow tractors on the tree farm he manages, and then I remembered his place is all rolling hills.

Good you've got the land to be able to safely operate what will be an extremely useful little tractor. I was thinking to myself I might be wider than your new Kubota, and then I had to remind myself I've lost a lot of weight and to give myself some credit.

:ROFLMAO:
