Anyone on here dealt with Johnson City, TN Kubota dealership?

If so, how was your experience, with the sale and any service work that was needed.

Bought my last two tractors (98 New Holland, 2011 Yanmar) from West Hills Tractor, Jonesborough, and I can recommend them. Talk to Chad Williams.

I shopped Kubota there in JC....but I just couldn't see that much more tractor for the money. If you DO decide to go Orange, you might wait until the farm show over at Meadowview center in Kingsport....an Orange dealer from southwest VA has much better pricing at the show.

Anyway, the dealer is Lawson Building Supply (yeah....funny name for a tractor dealer, huh) in (if I recall right) Rose Hill, VA. Give them a call if you decide to go Orange.

But you REALLY ought to consider Yanmar if you ask me. Heck of a tractor ! PM me and I'll give you my phone and you can come drive mine. I'm having a knee replaced next week and won't be putting any hours on it for a while....ahahahaaa.

the guys at J.c.Kubota seem to be good guys. I've been in a few times and kicked tires. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. My backhoe has a Kubota engine and I have bought some parts from them.

My cousin bought his B2620 from the dealer in Johnson City. Understand he has had good experience with them.

I went to West Hills yesterday, no thanks. No going to buy a tractor or attachment sight unseen nor will I deal with a salesman that wasn't to interested in talking to me because I wasn't purchasing a larger "Farm" tractor. Plus, they stopped selling Yanmar and the Boomer has crappy specs. As he clearly said "We don't have Sub-compact tractors here, Kubota and John Deere is the place for those". OK, so your Boomer 24 is a compact, but has lower specs than the GC1720, Mahindra 26XL and the Kubota, yea, OK, whatever.

It amazes me at some of the attitudes dealerships have in regards to these "Smaller" tractors. Oh, well.

Barlow and Johnson City Kubota has come back with quote's. JC is going to call me today with another quote and see how low they can go.

I just bought a Kubota L3901 from J.C. Kubota that was a lease return. All the people there treated me well and I felt like I got a fair price. The Sales manager is an Army reservist like myself, so even though I have a kubota dealership a few miles from my house, I choose to give him my business.

I gave them an opportunity several times to do the deal right. They couldn't seem to get where I needed them to get and then to top it off they bad mouthed Kioti.
