Johnny Bucket or the Superior Scoop?

/ Johnny Bucket or the Superior Scoop? #21
The JBucket is nicely built. I've lifted some heavy loads with no problems. Digging with it is a breeze also. Moving dirt and rock around with it sure saves my back and lots of time. As far as the float function, I haven't necessarily needed to use it. Been reading all the threads myself about this issue.

I would like to revive this thread. I am thinking of making a "superior scoop" for the blade on my bolens. A few questions I have hopefully for someone who has used one.

Superior Tech Inc. - Home of The Superior Scoop

How is it for down pressure. Will it stay closed?

When you try to dig, does the plow "spring" or flip down like it would normally?

How does it seal up around the sides? Do you loose a lot of material through the cracks.

Any other insight would be great.
