Whats a clean good-excellent x724 with under 400 hours worth?

I'm looking for opinions on fair market value.

The short answer to all the "what is a good price" depends entirely on you so it is nearly impossible to expect others to answer that question for you. Any of the tractors you are looking at are worth what you are willing to pay for them compared to new tractors that are built lighter. There is no guarantee how long any of the engines will last in older used units. An air cooled engine is good for 1500 hours + if it was well taken care of, or much less if it wasn't. I know one guy that keeps his garden tractor looking very good, but I sure wouldn't buy one of his used ones since he never changes the oil, etc., and everything he does is for appearance. If you need a new engine, is one available? That question, and more have to be considered when looking at something that usually has been "ridden hard, and put away wet" as many garden tractors are.

The best way to get an idea on price is get on machine finder and look at the machines you are interested in. You can sort by location, price hours, etc. That way you can compare regional differences as well as value for certain levels of hours, etc.
