John Deere x530 and new here.

Hello,

Newby here with a x530 and putting a 30" tiller on this winter. Wheel weights, front end weight, and rear tire weights have been mention in other post and other foreums. Just what is pro and con?

I would not buy a lawnmower and then add a bunch of weight to it, seems counter intuitive to me. As for operating a tiller on your mower you shouldn't need the weight for that.

Your lawn will look much better if you can keep the weight of the mower lower and stay off of it when it is wet.
