John Deere X475 Deck won't engage

I recently went to use my John Deere X475 and the deck wouldn't engage. I replaced the switch and still nothing. I checked voltage at the solenoid and only showed 5.9 vdc. Does anyone know where I should check next? Any help would be great.

Did you release the parking brake ?

The parking brake is released. It's been getting harder to get the deck to engage. If I played with the switch it used to eventuality work. That why I replaced the switch.

I have been having the same problem with my GT 235. In my case it is the electrical connection under the mower. I need to replace the connectors but haven't gotten around to it. For now I just wiggle the connectors a couple of times each time I cut grass.
