The news this am had a story that John Deere was named the most trusted corporation in America.

They've garnered my trust for sure. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've owned 3 JD units in my life and I can say I've been 100% satisfied with the performance of each of the units. Apart from normal maintenance things, I've never experienced any major problems with the 3 lawn and utility tractors I've owned. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good question. I've been scanning AP and Reuters business links past several days and I can't find any mention of this news topic? One of these news services would have reported this if it was an official survey or something comparable. Also, nothing is reported on JD's website.

OK Mike...thanks for the source. I see now why it wasn't a highlighted headline. It was embedded with a host of other issues and topics within Lane's speech.

But, and this is an important but,......it says Deere is the most trusted Illinois company in America (based on Crain survey) not the most trusted company overall in America as cowboydoc suggests. There's a big difference here. Anyone know where Deere fits in when ranked amongst all publicly traded companies in America?
