Lake Quassapaug eh?
Brings back memories from so long ago that I can't remember why I was there. I grew up in Trumbull, CT on a small lake, (Pinewood Lake). Lots of Frogs and Lilly pads.

There is an amusement park on the lake (smaller family run type) Maybe you went there for a class trip? Quassy is a nice spring fed lake. Good fishing . The lake itself is just under 300 acres. (285 I think)

I believe you are correct. Senior picnic after the prom. That was a very, very long time ago.

My first rollercoaster ride (was it called The Mouse?)....paddle boats in the early summer....sunning on the residents beach with my future (now past) wife.....yeah, many a fine memory at Quassy!

Haven't thought about that in quite awhile.

I grew up in Oakville. Are you from Middlebury Paul?

I grew up in Naugatuck. The name of the coaster is the Wild Mouse. They still have the paddle boats. If you every want to visit the lake stop by!!
