The title of this thread says "John Deere on its way to Mexico?", but this is a story of an unusual fellow and his trek towards Mexico on his John Deere.

Interesting story, but he's heading the wrong way!!!

Going North to PA to go South to Mexico, makes a lot of sense. I have learned these type lessons from reading posts by a famous TBN'r. His posts have a similar ring to them. I wonder if they are related?

This guy kinda reminds me of a local back around '79,now he wasn't a hippy or hobo,he owned a farm but he would always come to town on his Farmall.You would always see him ridin through town with a big old grin on his face.We used to call him smiley,I don't know why he didn't just drive his truck like every one else but maybe thats why he was always smilin'.

When I was a kid, we had a neighbor who didn't have a driver's license, always drove his MF tractor everywhere he went. Rain, snow, whatever the weather. I've seen the tractor (no cab) going down the road at night with temperatures in the teens. I can't remember the model, may have been a 165, possibly larger.
