John Deere LX 178 - good deal?

Hi,
I have a 1995 LX178 and am trying to put a mulching kit on mine. Any idea how to put one on correctly??

.. Also installed an hour meter since they don't come with one..I have no idea why an hour meter wasn't standard.

What brand, part number hour meter did you use, and who sells them. I might install one on mine.

You can use a number of brands...like TinyTach or SenDEC. That model above is just one we had in stock where I used to work. It's a nice unit...easy to mount and wire up with a number of different options. There is a data sheet on the Allied page with the instructions.
