I went to go start my LT133 for the first time this season, and the starter just spins but doesnt turn the engine over? It worked fine last year no problems? What should I do to try and fix this? Is the piece with gears on it that engages just sticking and not moving out to spin the engine over? If so where do I get at this to give it a tap or lube it up? Or any other ideas?

Thanks

Follow the positive wire to it. Not sure on your model.

Right, now... lightly tap using a piece of wood as an extension, using a small hammer on the block by the motor or the starter motor housing. Lightly and small are the key words. Do not contact any wires, plastic or sheet metal parts.

It could be a real simple adjustment! Easy on the hammer...

Could be the battery too. when mine was going, it was just spinning the starter a bit not enough to get it going.
