John deere la140 steering repair

I have had steering issues with this machine for a while so today I decided to do something about it

I took the mounting plate off and enlarged the hole with a 1 inch drill bit and then took it to its fine size with the boring head. I installed a $3 bearing from ace hardware made so we brass bushings on the lathe and it moves nice and smooth with no wiggle now.

Just waiting on the new gears to show up now
