John Deere L110
Hi, I have a John Deere L110, purchased new in 2003. It worked fine last time, went to use it this weekend and it is dead. Connected a trickle charger, headlights would turn on while charger connected, engine would not start. Did not appear to need a charge based on meter, let it charge anyway. 20 amp fuse appears good, wiring appears intact(it is stored in an unattached garage that could have mice). Manual PTO switch is disengaged. Original battery that reads okay on voltmeter but not load-tested. Does have gas and oil. Serviced this Spring at John Deere dealer. Do you suspect the battery or a safety switch or something else? Thanks!

Does it try to crank (lights dim)? If so clean the battery cable ends and check for cracks in the cables.

If it doesn't even click then you should check for voltage at the starter solenoid lead while someone holds the key on start. If nothing then then your problem is likely a saftey switch or some part of the wiring to them. If you do have voltage then look at your starter or the solenoid.
