John Deere Gator..

My tech school, is getting rid of their Kawasaki Mule. I was wondering if anyone would know if a ROPS comes on, or if you can get one installed on a John Deere Gator. I have checked dealers but so far they cant tell me much... Gators arent really big around here. I was asked to check up on Gators but, we can only purchase one if it has ROPS on it..

Femco makes one. Their products are available through Deere Dealers, or may be purchased from them. They have a ROPS and ROPS cab.

how do you roll a Gator?

I am not sure if you can roll them, but eventually someone will figure it out.

Yes, the high performance Gators have a fully engineered ROPS available with windshield, wipers, can even put doors on it...about $1600 plus extras
The frame is manufactured to adapt it. You have to cut holes in the plastic body.
