sounds like a stripped gear in the differential

jack the rear up and turn one of the rear wheels by hand

try that in and out of gear, the other wheel should turn in the opposite direction

the f935 is a front mower with foot pedal forward and reverse and i also beleive it to be the same as a 318 rear drive just in the front on the f900 series it has hcydrolic deck raicse and lower and power steering in the rear which all work.

Check to see if the axle is turning within the brake hub. A broken axle key will disconnect the axle from the wheel. I've had some trouble with this on my own F935. The locknut on the axle doesn't want to stay tight in spite of the lock washer. This can wear the key and keyway and poof, its busticated.

i will check that thanks.
also was wondering about hydo unit if its working right because the two buttons you press to move the mower will not stay down if pressed. and also if the fluid level is still low, it shows in sight glass but nothing in resivor tank.

Its normal for the reservoir to be empty while the sight glass is showing a line, unless the line is plugged.

But, the relief buttons could also be the answer to your traction problem. If one of the seals is cut or there is dirt in it, then the drive wheel on that side won't get oil flow. Try removing the valves and cleaning them. Mark them so you know which one goes on each side. If you reverse the valve positions, observe if the traction goes to the opposite side.

I've seen used valves for sale on ebay from parted out machines...

They will only depress if the engine is off. They are meant for towing the tractor. I would check axle keys. I bet you have one sheared off. Very common with these units.
