This is pretty amazing. They put a lot of time and thought into this, and really did it up right.
Skip past the first minute and they get into the project.

There is another guy on YT who put a diesel tractor engine into his 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. Amazing MPG.

The guy in the link I posted is a John Deere dealer... he opted for a 1969 p/u because that is the year his parents opened the business.
I don't think that he was worried about the cost.

My uncle put a Perkins 354 in a Ford 3/4 ton service truck in the mid 1970's and ran it on pipeline jobs all over the Northeast and Midwest for about 15 years.
