John Deere E150 will not start. I left the key in the ignition turned to the right and now I try to start her and get NOTHING, no click, no noise.

John Deere e150
I have had a trickle charge on the battery for 2 days and still have nothing. No lights either. I do see a code in my hours box that says 630.

Will it start with jumper cables?

If the battery was run completely dead the battery might be toast.

Easy thing to do is clean both battery cable connection and make sure they are tight.

A trickle charger probably won't do much for a dead battery.

if it were me, I'd stick a new one in. Nothing wrong with having an extra battery anyway.

Batteries can be good, then not good a minute later - have learned that over the years.

Rolltide - Welcome to TBN 📣

Does the owners manual explain the trouble codes ?

Before you start throwing parts at it, measure the battery voltage. A fully charged battery should read:
A fully charged cell at 80 degrees F would show a specific gravity of 1.265. If all six cells are fully charged, an accurate digital voltmeter reading of battery voltage would show 12.68 volts.

Specific gravity for a 50 percent discharged cell would drop to 1.19 and battery voltage would fall to 12.24.

When specific gravity reaches 1.12, the cell is fully discharged and battery voltage falls to 11.89 volts, assuming the specific gravity is the same in all six cells.
