John Deere DTAC 62233 - noisy steering

Other than contacting a John Deere dealership can someone provide me some information on DTAC 62233? I have a 99 5210, when I am operating the tractor over 2,000 rpm and turn the steering wheel either direction it makes a whiny noisy. The noise is coming from the steering wheel valve. I have changed the hydraulic fluid, filter and cleaned the pick screen, which has had no effect.

Have you considered a friction modifier?

JD has one, and I've used it to help the tranny in my 4x2 gator. Have no idea if it would help your steering noise. Just a thought.

Are you sure of the dtac solution number? I did a search and that number doesn’t seem to exist. It is possible Deere removed it if they thought it was no longer a good solution. Have you checked steering and hydraulic pressures? Also look at all hydraulic lines to see if there are any lines touching anything that they could vibrate against.
