John Deere Deck Wash Feature

When salesman explained this to me I thought it was a bunch of bunk, but this feature is awesome this is the 2nd year on my X530 and the build-up was about 3" but after using the deck wash for 5 minutes or so gunk started flying out my deck is actually clean.

It may be awesome for clean up, but the power wash port is tough on bearings and other un painted metals. Make sure to follow your wash with grease!

I also prefer to keep the deck dry (as possible) and have very little problem with deck buildup. Just apparently enough sticks to chop up to keep the deck pretty clean. I may dislodge some chunks in the corners when I change blades, but not more than a couple times a year.

Dealing with the green grass deck sludge after deck washing would be a bigger pain for me.
