Before you upgrade I would take the FEL off and mow, then put it back on. Very simple. I've never had to, but I also don't mow with my tractor. I know in your shoes I wouldn't pay another $7000 for something that is nearly the same as what I got. Just my $.02

I would agree and also say that if the 930A is in good shape I would mow with it. If there is another person to operate the BX then drop the loader and use it too.
