Last year I purchased a cs40 and have to say I have used it a lot over the winter. I got the 16 inch bar on mine and it does very well starts very easily probably best saw I have ever had. Cant go wrong with the quality and they will come down on price.

We have the CS40 and CS56 for over 3 years now and have had no problems. We used them substantially the 1st and 2nd years.
These are not made by Homelite. They are made in Italy by a reputable mfg.

$400 bucks should almost get you 2 of these.

I bought a CS56 which seems to have plenty of power--I don't use a chain saw that much so the only thing I have to compare it to is a little homelite which I definitely don't like.

The CS56 has met my expectations. It is made in Italy.
