JD 950
I just purchased a 1980 JD 950, my first tractor. The selector switch on the right side of the console is markered <OFF> <W> <F> <H1> <H2>

Apparently some of the positions need to be rewired, as I cannot discern any activity for the W or F and the only the right headlight and right running light glow with the H1 position.

I admit being a novice and I would appreciate knowing what the designations are and then I can trace the problems.

THANKS

I think the F is for flashers, the H1 and H2 correlate to a lowbeam and high beam. Possibly the W is for a work light on the rear fender facing the rear?

(A) Turns off all lamps.
(B) Turn on warning lamps only - For driving on highway during daytime.
(C) Turn on headlamps, rear flood lamp, and tail lamps. For field use only, not for use on roads.
(D) Turns on headlamps, tail lamps, and warning lamps. For highway driving during night or day.

Thanks to both of you. I can now begin to rewire the lights.
