John Deere 855 Backhoe

Hi,
I have a john deere 855 1987 with home made FEL.

I'm looking for a backhoe, i found a used one, but its about 1000 pounds.
doest it weight too much for the 855?
Of course i will no use the 3 point, i will build a subframe

Your JD855 is really a Yanmar in green paint.

Built on the Yanmar FX frame with the Yanmar engine. JD just adds the hood and wheels in the factory.

To compensate for the BH, the machine will need enough front weight to assist the BH while in transit.

With all that said, the next question is, are you certain how it has to be plumbed for the hydraulics?

I will buy the PT13744 diverter plug and do the hydraulic to the rear.

does have any risk for rear axle, bearing?

does empty bucket in front is enought or maybe need to load it?

with weight in rear and front, any risk for the little frame of the tractor?

For these tractors, they require a full sub-frame plate and rails, not just rails and cross members from what the catalogs show.
