john deere 790 w/loader

hi all,i have a chance to buy a 2002 john deere 790 w/loader for $11,500. it has 125 hrs. is this a good price and a good machine(maint history,reliability,etc.)? tnx ab2ma

My 790 was an awsome machine for the work I had done with it. $11,500.00 seems a little high to me though. I sold my 2001 790 with loader and backhoe with around 200 hours for $12,500.00

I paid $12500 for my 2003 machine with 24 hours on the meter.
I agree...price sounds a bit high, but may be the norm for your location.

The 790 is a very reliable and robust little tractor...I'd say go for it!

I paid $12,000 for the tractor and I think $2400 for the loader just this past April. And I think I got a decent price.

So when I read your post, yeah, I think it is a little high, but pricing is quite regional.
