John Deere 790
OK, I need some help locating parts or a rebuild kit for a John Deere 790 injector pump. In the back of the pump, where the fuel solenoid comes into contact with the fuel shutoff inside the pump, there are two springs that are worn out. When the solenoid activates, the springs are too weak to push the level back and allow fuel to the engine. I can take the solenoid off and pull the shutoff level back with a pick, and it starts immediately. I have cleaned all of those parts, and you can tell the springs are weak. The pump model is 7929223 51470. If anyone knows where I can find a rebuild kit or even those two springs, I would appreciate the help. If those springs are all I need, I would rather not spend $1000 on a rebuilt pump.

You can send you pump out to be rebuilt for a fraction of the $1,000 and be so far ahead and the machine running.

Your engine is a YANMAR, so Mike is the guy who knows it all.
