I took my bucket cylinder apart to rebuild it. I first had to give the parts house the correct ID size of the barrel so they could order. I took the part off the piston to measure but am not sure which way it goes back on. In the picture, it is the large part closest to the nut on the end of the piston, has the yellow plastic ring around it. I would assume the beveled end would go toward the nut to make it easier to place inside the barrel. Stupid me didn't pay close enough attention to it or take a picture before I removed it. Anyone have a picture (not parts diagram because it is not a clear picture) of the inside of the cylinder? Also, would anyone happen to have an owner's manual for the 70A loader or know where I can find one? Thanks in advance. cylinder.jpg

A) Welcome

B) Sorry - I don't know. Does the piston have any marking from the nut being installed? Does it fit the same either way?

I doubt it matters since it "sees" pressure in both directions. Unless it only goes on one way (physically) I would install bevel towards the nut for easy assembly as you state.
