John Deere 6220
Controls to make the tractor move forwards and backwards, when I put it on, it makes a bleeping sound with a blue indicator light flashing. The tractor wont go backwards or forwards. The fuse has blown a few times (behind the seat) and i've replaced the fuse and the tractor functioned for a short period but this time the fuse hasn't blown but the tractor isnt functioning, any ideas?

More info please.

European model ? I am thinking limavegas is Ireland.

Cab or open station?

What fuse number?

I am guessing Power Reverser transmission? Is the Forward/Reverse control mechanical or electric?

Wild guess is Solenoid on transmission failed. Number 44 or 51 in the drawing.

Yeah european model, yep limavadys in northern ireland

it's a cab

On the column f04 down the rows in between the numbers 8 and 9 right beside it facing up and down is the fuse that blew a few times

The reverser transmission is electrical

Would there be any way of checking if the solenoid transmission 44/51 is working? and is it possible that they sometimes work and sometimes may fail?

I'll try to get more information if possible, thanks very much for replien

You should try and find out what "that" fuse controls, the problem lays in "that" circuit.
Could also be a neutral safety circuit gone wrong. Check for any broken "live" wires, one may have been shorting out to ground causing your fuse to blow until it finally burnt itself apart, so now, the fuse isn't blowing.

Found out the problem, it was a broken wire, as you lifted the steering console up and down, it gradually wore the wire till it broke, thanks very much for the help, it really appreciated.
