For sale is my John Deere 5520, 89 HP with 541SL self levelling loader. 9/3 Synchro shuttle trans. I bought new. 625 +/- hours, 12.4x24 and 18.4x30 100% Firestone DT radials, cast rear centers with two weights per side, front weight block. Dual remotes. No emissions. Weight approx. 8,000 lbs. Never in rain. Runs and operates like the day I bought it. Weights, centers and radials were over $6,500. Rarely used with loader on so most pics are that way. Hate to sell but time marches on. $35,250

Not new as in yesterday but were 100% rubber. I rarely drove on blacktop.

I guessing you got close to your asking price. You mind I ask how much was it new when you bought it?

My FIL's 5420 has been a great tractor. It has about 600-700 hours. We don't know exactly because the little LED hour meter quit working around 500 hours.

Yours looks like new. His has never been stored indoors sadly. We are just now leveling a pad for an equipment carport shed, albeit open on both ends.

On a side note, I hope your doing well and whatever else you pursue comes easily.

I got close to asking but remember I had high $$ radials on it with cast rear centers, weights and a weight block up front. Still I used it and it was a wonderful tractor that was probably the best one I ever owned, especially set up the way I had it. It looked and acted like new. Not like new nut new.

Can't recall what I paid but remember those were 17 year old dollars hat have since depreciated. I think it stickered for 40K. So, replacement cost and condition of item being sold determines most of the resale value. A dollar in 2002 is now the same as $1.42 so that matters.
