clean it all and inspect #3 for any cracks. Have you replaced fuel lines yet from the tank?

When I first got my 5525 I had a problem. I hand tightened the filter and no problems for 2 years. I went and read the thread and the darn thing took for ever to start....
Anybody retrofitted with a racor filter and eliminated the original?
