John Deere 5310 Hydraulic Brakes - Any Brake Discs less sensitive to water in fluid

I have a John Deere 5310. It has the wet type brakes which are submerged in the Trans-Hydraulic Fluid. My tractor sits most of the year and condensation gets in the fluid. I know that the fluid should get changed more often to try to keep the moisture out of it. However, I was wondering if there was a brand or type of brake disc that was less likely to suffer from swelling due to moisture in the fluid or are all the brake discs the same? Thanks.

Sounds like a round-about-way to solve the problem.. Maybe a method to drain the water accumulation before running the tractor would be the easier solution.
Know of no disc exchange that would run in water-contaminated tranny fluid. And if contaminated, the brakes would be the least of my concerns.

If the tractor sits out in the open check the shifter boots to see if they are cracked allowing water to get in the transmission. I haven't heard of other people having issues with parked tractors absorbing enough water to cause brake problems through condensation.

The cost of a fluid change and filters is dirt cheap compared to the damage that contaminated fluid can cause. I would start by looking for places that water can get into the case and do the fluid and filter change.

I agree with Beenthere, the brakes would be the least of my concerns.

Don't forget that fluid moves in the Hydraulics also.

Thanks for all the information. I do realize what areas of the tractor the fluid affects. The tractor previously belonged to my father who passed away. I am very careful about maintenance and fluid changes. I will look for boot cracks. Are there any other typical water entry points besides the shifter boot

Not familiar with a 5310 specifically but I would clean the tractor and then visually inspect for any places where water could enter.
