John Deere 5105 Steering Spindle

I have a JD 5105, 2wd with adjustable front steering. It has a 512 FEL that was installed by the local JD dealership. This morning the left front spindle snapped in half, immediately behind the hub. This is the FOURTH broken spindle in two years. Has anyone else experienced this problem or heard of it happening? Aftermarket spindles are $400 ish and JD spindles are $500 ish. This is Ludicrous.

Very surprised you are breaking spindles. Any idea what you might be doing to cause that breakage?

Were they JD spindles that snapped?

My brothers john deere about 70 hp has broken two spindles that l know of. I don’t remember the model number.
