john deere 5075e cab with 553 fel
set my brush hog drown to the lowest level this weekend after a long day brush hogging and some loader work and it didnt raise when i went to lift it back up to move the tractor. after moving the fel a couple of times and working the lever it raised back up. hydraulic level looks good.only 50 hrs on tractor. is this a problem to worry about?

You could put a pressure gage in a tee in the IN port of the FEL valve and use that to see any pressure developed in the hyd system.

So if your pump is pumping, and you move the 3pt lever and no pressure is displayed, then the pump flow is going somewhere.

Bad relief valve, worn piston seals, valve not shifted correctly. 3pt lever pin missing.

If your FEL works OK, then you know the pump is good.

this problem is only happened two times. Could my hydraulic levels in my site glass just be off and i need more fluid? Thanks for the help.

If you have the problem after verifying that the fluid level is okay then get the dealer involved. That is a new tractor and may have internal issues.

I had to take mine apart on my 4520 a couple of years ago and that was due to the linkage inside came loose. Since putting it back together I haven't had any problems.
