John Deere 5045
Evening Gentlemen,

I bought a 2020 JD 5075E and it is now making a "chirping" (not rattle or grinding) noise under the tractor. The sound seems to be coming from directly under my feet/floorboard. The "chirp" is very similar to fan belt noise or even a bird but the noise is not coming from the front of the engine. Also the "chirp" begins after the tractor warms up for a few minutes and the speed of the chirp coincides the the engine RPM. The more RPM the faster the chirp, slower RPM the slower the chirp. All the hydraulic items (loader, steering, 3point) seem to be working fine with no jerking etc.. My John Deere dealer has been slow to act and I am needing the tractor back, sooner than later..

Has anyone had this issue or does anyone have any opinions or advise?

Any help is appreciated
Brett

So related to engine rpm, not to transmission or forward or reverse movement ?

Correct. No matter the gear or the direction of travel, the chirp frequency is directly related to the engine RPM.

With that being said, the noise is not the belt on the front of the motor.

Because the noise is gone when the belt is removed? Is the tractor at the dealer now?
