John Deere 4710 rear add on

I have hydraulics front wih joystick but no rear hydraulics. Is it possible to add rear or another control to operate a grapple hook for brush etc?

Sure, several options come to mind. If your loader valve has PB, just add a rear remote and run hoses to the front for the grapple. The remote could have 1,2 , 3 spools for different operations, such as T-N-T. A log splitter, hyd tiller, etc

A selector valve located up front could use the fluid from the curl circuits to control a grapple, using a thumb switch.

You have open center hyd system, and about 10.6 GPM, and 2500 psi pressre.

PB is Power Beyond.

PB is a term used to provide fluid downstream, for use by other valves in series. Each valve should have PB except the last valve in a tractor hyd system, which is a 3pt valve , and it dumps all the pump flow into the tank with all valves in the neutral position.

All of the cyl fluid usage exits the valve OUT port to tank.

If there is no 3pt involved, the last valve has to have a port to pass the unused fluid to tank.

I'll look a little closer tomorrow and see what is there.

The 4710 has the 3pt, as well as the hyd ports on the mid-right side of the tractor along with the joystick.

So if I understand right, the hydraulics on the mid-right side would have a place to access for power beyond?
