John deere 450 dozer winch

HI guys i got a 450BE dozer that has a deere 3325 winch. Im just curious to what this winch is rated to pull. I cant find info. My book only has cable capacity as far as how many feet of what size will fit. I know the winch is strong and it will stand dozer up to the point where arch touches ground almost then drag dozer haha The only reason im wandering is because a buddy was askin me bout it. I would guess it to be 20,000-30,000lb winch

I guess the cable size would be the clue to the winch capacity. :thumbsup:

I second tonyoz' post. The winch is also limited by the dozer's weight, and that's nowhere near 20k lbs.

Book says it will take 1/2" - 3/4" cable. It has 5/8" on it currently. As far as weight a straight 450 without winch is 14,500lb. And with winch and arch it prob 16,000 lbs or lil more
