I was using my 4300 Gear drive today to disk up a food plot and after about 5 rounds of running in Gear A 3. I switched to Gear A 4..... I went about 50 yards and it felt like I hit a brick wall. The tractor stopped. I tried shifting gears and something seemed to be locked in the trans. After several attempts, I finally got it to move in C 1..... I was in a wet area and could not get my truck/trailer in field to winch it on trailer, so I idled it out of field and onto trailer. I brought it home and unhooked disk. It will move forward and back, but is has something clanging in what sounds like the left rear axle to me????? and it stops the tractor sometimes. I was able to press the clutch and shift Fwd/Rev lever to get it under the shelter, but I have not tried shifting the gear levers...... Has anyone dealt with this?? I suspect a broken bolt or pin or axle or ??? Tractor is 4wd with 430 loader and has 1900 hours
