John Deere 425 and 400

I knew full well that the 425 is a swell unit. It's just that they wanted $5000 and it was setting in the parking lot, waiting to get the engine rebuilt. I added another $3000 to that price and bought a much newer Kubota BX2200 with a Kubota diesel and 4 wheel drive in absolutely stunning condition with 200 hours on the meter. I've always been a green guy, but I gotta tell, the attitude from the JD dealer that they are unquestionably the best ever hands down, coupled with some searing let downs in my 2 green tractors has finally made me realize that in time, my garage is going to have two orange units in there! My John Deere 316 is headed out the door real soon.

I can't blame you for that. My JD dealer is a joke. From walking inside you think they would give you a bill for taking up their time.

:laughing::laughing: That's right, you nailed it. Just looking and comparing the BX 2200 to my 42 hp John deere and there are a few thingsd that are actually built stouter on the orange one. I'm thoroughly impressed! I about burst out laughing when I removed the front tire from my 316 John deere and discovered that the thing was sitting on bushings..... No roller bearings to speak of.
