John Deere 4200 pricing

Looking at a John Deere 4200, machine looks to be in very good cond. with 660 hours, 4 wheel dr, seller is wanting 5700.00. s this a good price, any advice appreciated.

Very good price, even if you have to go to Humboldt. Check searchtempest.com to check Craigslist nationwide for price comparisons.

More information would be helpful; such as transmission type, tire type, loader or no loader, number of hydraulic outlets (SCV's), Power Beyond, mid PTO, and so on.

Check www.tractorhouse.com for similar units.

Price seems very good, almost too good to be true so be careful! If it comes with a loader I would say it's a steal.

I would believe that price has to be a hoax. The dealer would pay more than that for it. It must have some attachments..... what other miracles does he have ? I see quite a few ads, mostly JDs with attachments for less than half value. They all end up with the same story, owner moving over seas and can't take it along. It is usally at a shipping dock " ready to be shipped " You send a check and if you don't like it I will return your money... Ha Ha.
If it is close by look and buy it. There are very few deals on green tractors... None at less than half price with low hours in the compact series. Good Luck
