John Deere 4200 new fuel pump.

My brother bought a JD 4200 a few months ago previous owner ruined the injector pump and didn’t time it before removing pump. Since then we’ve removed the front cover to line up all the marks on gears no my question is how do I go about timing the pump. Since this photo the lines were matched up better.
