John Deere 4100 replacement Alternator warning ( EBAY)

March of 2014 My alternator started getting flakey on the 4100. So after much research and advice from members on here with
a similar issue. I ordered a replacement from total-power-parts on Ebay. This past weekend I replaced the glow plugs and decided
to give the old Greenie a once over while sitting and running. That's when I noticed it. The Stator was bouncing all over the inside
of the housing!! Which would explain my Pop saying it wasn't charging right. Dang thing as less then 200 hrs on it!! I've emailed
them about this. Have yet to hear back and if I do I will add on here. For now I wanted all here might shop through them to know.

please explain better or post pictures of what you are calling stator not fitting in alternator housing. your original alternator should have been a denso 101211-2200 or 2201 they are both the same. in 30 years of being in alternator ans starter business have never seen one as you described that was not completed fried from either overcharge or low voltage and this usually only burns the copper wires in alternator not the metal stator frame

are you kinda close to lenoir nc if so call ase electric joey is the owner his number is 828-754-8208 he is one of the best in the business can pretty well tell you what happened to your alternator

I'm dead center M Creek, Are you saying that he owns the company that I ordered from? Cause it took awhile to get here. Lenoir is 37 mins from my driveway. Whom ever the owner is. They did reply today, asking to verify my name and mailing address due to not finding me in their records???

WELL H3LL the new alternator sent by Total Power Parts from Tenn.. flaked out after only 30 hrs of use. Kept finding the battery dead the day after use...went thru the points of checking and discovered the alternator was causing the drain..checked it's out put and it was 2.5 volts from the 13.2 it had when I installed it. Gave them a call today to say..Hey the replacement went bad as well...The same guy that sent the replacement named David answered said he was the owner...and refused to send another. Kept harping on why did they send me another a few weeks outta warranty...YOU sent it said I...because it had less than 200 hrs on it...now the replacement turns out to be bad. He argues the point and says..well not a thing I can do about it slams the phone..I call back from another number he answers...before he says a word.. I state.. YES there is a thing I can do about it..report you to the Better Business, ebay, and share the story with every page I know so when people see it they know not to buy from you! DO NOT BUY FROM Total Power Parts!
