john deere 325

i have a older 325 that i been fixing up for my son so he can cut the grass at the church its about 3 acre or so but it wont start i think i lost spark any one with any help would be great thanks ken

i had that model jd good motor(kawasaki liquid cooled twin) hydro very good deck had issues with grass staying in certin places and rusting deck if not cleaned often from beneath mower. i'd check coils has one per cylinder also make sure you have power going to ignition switch and out of ignition swith to coils good luck you have a very good base to a great dependable lawn mower not a lawn tractor(till, haul dirt, snow plow ect was not what it was intended to do)
