I recently got a used John Deere 305 Gang Reel Mower. The RCV or Remote Hydraulic Cables were shot so I took the to shop that does such things and they broke em and couldn't fix em. Awesome.
So I went down the internet rabbit hole and found out that they are Morse Teleflex RCV 42UG cables. Two problems, no local distributor and custom ends on the cables. The parts catalog is here. The custom end looks like this.
I have a friend with a lathe who will help me make new clevises but I was wondering if anyone had done this before? If not I hope this helps someone else. Also does anyone know what the remote spool value is? I can't find a part number on it.
