I have a brand new JD open station 3046R tractor and I have installed a Summit Hydraulics rear and front remote kit. I need advice on the best place to tap into 12v power. The kit came with a device called " add a fuse", but my fuse block has a sealed cover and the is no entry from the back of the block. For the time being I have tapped into power for the cig. lighter (power port) inside the right hand console. My worry is that this power source is live all the time. I will post a pic of a block inside the right hand console. I have no idea what it is for and it shows no power even with key on.
Anyone have electrical experience with this model?
Thanks for any help.

Often the JD tractors will have a power cord zip tied at the left rear (near the back of the seat) that is switched on with the light switch. Set up to plug or add a rear work light. Poke around the wire harness and see if there is a connector zip tied down in the bundle.

Or use the cig lighter, and add a switch with a fuse in the hot line.
