John Deere 3032e vs Massey Ferguson 1734e

Think I have decided against both. The Kubota L3901 has got my attention and I'm now trying to decide between the L3901 and a Kioti CK4010.

The new Kioti DK10SE series tractors are really nice, might want to cross shop those as well.

We ran a 3038E then went to a 5065E. The 3038 was a great mowing tractor and was light enough you could use it on your lawn.

Ground engagement was a big let down. It was real light in the *** end and even a full load of dirt required the bush hog to be on for ballast.

We still run the 5065E in one location but have moved into running Kubota at our other.

I think going forward Kubota will be our equipment supplier due to the quality of their smaller machines.

I looked seriously at the L3901 and decided against it because the loader specs seemed a little on the light side to me. It's a nice tractor, from what I can see, but leaning more toward something like the Boomer 40 in the future because the dealer is closer, and I like him. Boomer 40 seems to have stronger loader and be a little heavier. It's also more expensive, I believe.

I decided against the JD as soon as I climbed on it. It just had a cheap look and feel to it. I didn't think it would hold up.

The Massey seemed pretty good but I figured might as well climb on a Kubota before I did anything.

Feel in love instantly with the Kubota. The only thing left to decided was which model, L3301 or L3901. They are the same tractor just different horsepower. I went with the more horsepower.

I've got about 10hrs on it so far, mostly with a bush hog. I'm still in the honeymoon phase but loving this tractor.

5 years on my 3032E without a single issue. It's a fine tractor and does everything I need it to do and more. I'm sure the Kubota is a fine machine also.

Just to be clear, I had zero mechanical issues with my 3038E as well (same engine and frame). It was a very well put together machine.

From my previous posts you can see I just needed more tractor.

Man that was fast. Isn't it amazing how when you demo these machines one just stands out to you? I had the same experience. Congrats on the L3901! I am sure you will enjoy it for years to come. Have your father give it a spin if he can to check out the HST!
