You need to tell us more about what your needs are. How much property are you managing? What do you plan to do with the tractor? Are using a different tractor already? What attracted you to the 3000 series? Do you need a front loader, a mower, auger etc?

They are very capable tractors and even the base 3320 can do a lot.

I always think "most horse power for the class size of tractor". So I would be pushing you towards the 3720. But you really only need that much power if you are using pto driven implements. So if you are not going to be doing much mowing, then the 3520 would be fine and actually I'm sure that the 3320 would work for you. All good machines, really need to have more specifics to give you more accurate suggestions. :confused3:

Yes I got 12 acres farm. Be doing a lot of mowing so a mid mount mower is a must. Wanna get a 300 x or cx loader with it for snow removal and for my drive way in the spring and summer.. Then I'll also be getting a brush hug for my trees and a tiller for garden and for landscaping on the place... I'm wandering if the 3720 would be to big for all this so any info would be great.. Also wandering if the air ride seat comes standard on the 3000 tractors??? Thanks guys

The 3320, 3520 & 3720 are all physically the same size. The air ride seat is an option for these models. You need to find a dealer that has one of these models, take a good look, decide on how much power you need, (more is better) and go from there. I have never heard of someone saying that they just had to much power, and that they should have bought the smaller hp model.

But that may just be me.

Again, good luck. ;)

All the 3x20 (3000) series John Deere tractors have the same frame size, the only difference is power, hydraulics, etc. So if a 3320 would work a 3720 would be a 3320 with more power but no difference in physical size, if that makes sense, they have the same footprint. You won't see a larger frame until you go to the 4000 series tractor.

With that said I think you would be happiest with either a 3520 or 3720. If you need a lot of PTO work the 3720 is the way to go, but if you don't the 3520 will work. Once you get to the 3720 you will not notice anymore pure power as you will run out of traction before you do power. If you will be doing more than just a MMM (mid mount mower) as any 3000 will run one a 3720 may not be a bad idea, and I've never heard anyone complaining they have "too much" power.

As for the loader, go with the CX. For a couple hundred dollars you get a larger lift and a quick attach/detach loader.

I would recommend a box blade as well for a nice ballast and is great for moving dirt. A ballast box is great as well, ballast is necessary to safely operate your tractor.

Another thing to think about is a cab. They may add a lot to the base cost of a tractor but the comfort is nice over a lifetime. Nothing beats being extremely cold or hot outside and being nice and warm inside.

Oh yes, and as MtnViewRanch has mentioned is that all have optional air ride seat and the best dealer to look for them is around you. Doesn't help you much for me to tell you a dealer 600 miles away. Use Deere's "dealer locater" and find some nearby dealers, call them go walk the lot and see what they have to offer. And when buying be sure to compare prices and not jump the gun on what you think is a great deal because someone else may want to beat it.

I have owned a 3320 with 300cx loader for about 4 years. I chose the 3320 because it was lower in initial cost and I wanted to stay away from a turbo charged engine, although, I don't think the turbo charged engine is an issue if you want the additional horsepower. I would definitely recommend the 300cx loader over the 300 or 300x which have less capacity. Fuel economy is excellent in my opinion as well cold weather starting.
