I have a John Deere 300 Industrial that I think is a 1970. Went to use it in January to push some snow and it would only go in reverse. It has the shuttle shift and when you put it in gear and shuttle forward it engages, but has no power. Reverse works fine. Need to get it fixed so I can start mowing again. Any ideas on why it works fine in reverse, but no power going forward. Would it have something to do with the brakes and reverser valve?
