Buying Advice john deere 2940

Hi all I was looking at john deere 2940 and wanted to here what people had to say about them and if 19k was good price for it thanks

First, welcome to the forum.

About the 2940, that sounds extremely high to me. I recommend you check Tractorhouse.com and Machinerytrader.com to get a better idea of asking prices (these are higher than actual sale prices) for the various used tractors. Another site to bookmark is Tractordata.com this is a handy index of tractor models with information on most models.

I think after doing some research you will find that the 4020 and 3020 have a better overall resale than the 2940 and 2640 that replaced them. The prices on these older 4020 in good shape remain very high.

Do some looking and searching and ask questions here to gain insight on models before you buy.

Thanks for your help on the price I thought the same but I always like to deal that is the fun of the game I like this tractor because it is four wheel drive
