ON MY JD 2840 THE LOADER WILL RISE AND BUCKET DUMPS, IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING ON THE BACK IT WILL RISE WHILE YOUR DRIVING. IT SLOWLY DOES IT, BUT IT IS ANOYING. DOES ANYBODY HAVE A FIX FOR THE PROBLEM.

Tractor data says your tractor is closed center, so no fluid should be flowing through the valves until you move the levers.

With all valves in neutral, the cyl's should not be getting any fluid, unless the valves are leaking.

It would be unusual for two valves to be leaking at the same time, but it could happen.

There is no logical reason for what you describe to occur.

Install a hyd pressure gage on the cyl side and take some readings.

Note especially the pressure when the cyl are fully extended.

i've run across this problem several times and it always wound up being the linkage cables from the joystick to the valves hanging up or the adjustments were off due to wear

The 3pt hitch on my JD 2030 (closed center) drfits up when running. The control lever also is drifting up. I think it needs the friction washers from the lever to the quadrant replaced. Just heve not bothered to replace them:ashamed:

It could also be either seals leaking on the valves or what I've seen called a "sponge" or "spongy" casting for the valves which let's fluid slowly bypass the valves completely. Just something to check.
