John Deere 2210
There is a local guy selling a 2004 John Deere 2210 with 210 loader and 54C mower. It has 550 hours on it, and looks great. He is asking $8650 obo. What do you all think a fair price is for this tractor? I tried searching old posts but couldn't find any talking about price.

Thanks!

I think that's about right. A similar 2210 with loader, 62c mower, and scraper blade sold at an auction near me for $10,000 this spring. I can't remember the exact hours but I think it was somewhere around 500 hours.

The unit you're looking at has a smaller belly deck and no scraper blade, so you'd expect it to be a bit less--and it is.

When I was looking at tractors, getting anything under $9000 with loader and mower deck, and in decent shape, seemed impossible. I finally found something but it took a year of searching. I don't know if the market has changed much since then (that was two years ago), but I think what you've found sounds like a good deal.

Whether or not the 2210 is a good fit for you I can't say. But I can say that I'm a very satisfied owner of a John Deere 2210. True, it's a small tractor--but it's "big enough" for me. I love it! Planning on adding a backhoe as my next implement. :-D

I would be doing snow removal, yard work, and eventually add a brush hog for clearing out a 1 acre field once a year. I believe this fits what i need.
