John Deere 212 cuts out

I have an older Deere 212 mower with Kohler engine. it wants to cut out when I make a left turn on a hill. When I get it on level ground it will start back up. But reluctantly , like it flooded.

Does it have a seat switch? I'd check the safety switch in the seat. Otherwise could be something maybe floating around in the gas tank??? Or bad carb float seat.

It doesnt have a seat switch. I think it was unhooked at one time or the other. Can you buy a rebuild kit for the carb? I will check the tank. It only seems to cut out when you make a left turn on the hill.

I'd look at the wiring behind the dash and see if the steering linkage is catching a wire to shut it down. Only thing that makes any sense.
